But the light faded. The prayers stopped. And the forest moved in.

Now, Gravelight Cathedral stands hollowed by time, its stone bones rising solemnly against the dusk. Vines clutch its broken windows like desperate hands. Behind the altar, an ancient tree has taken root - a creature of silence and shadow. Its twisted bark bears the faces of the lost, skulls grown into the wood like fruit of a curse.

No one remembers what was worshipped here.
Only that something still listens.
